PFI has now delivered over 500 operational projects including:

• over 185 new or refurbished health facilities
• over 230 new or refurbished schools
• over 40  major transport infrastructure projects

This has taken place across over 20 different infrastructure sectors and in over 100 different procuring authorities throughout the whole of the UK. PFI has enabled the transformation and regeneration of the UK’s essential infrastructure on an unprecedented scale.

In this section you can see for yourself the transformation that has taken place in the UK – the replacement of deteriorating, out of date and not fit for purpose infrastructure with modern, state-of-the-art facilities fit for the 21st century.
